Questions

Answers about child development screening, therapy, early intervention, locations and how to get started with Kizzu Kids.

Getting Started

1

What is the first step if I am worried about my child development?

The first step is usually a child development screening or assessment. Screening identifies possible concerns and whether further assessment may help; it does not provide a diagnosis. The appropriate next step depends on your child’s needs.

2

Do I need a diagnosis before contacting Kizzu Kids?

No. Parents can contact Kizzu Kids even without a diagnosis. The team can guide you on whether your child may benefit from screening, assessment, therapy, early intervention or school-based support.

3

How do I book an appointment?

You can contact Kizzu Kids through WhatsApp, phone or email. The team will guide you to the most suitable next step based on your concern and preferred location.

1

What is child development screening?

Child development screening is an early observation process that helps identify whether a child may need further assessment or developmental support. It is not a diagnosis.

2

What areas are checked during assessment?

Depending on the concern, the team may look at communication, language, attention, social interaction, play skills, motor skills, sensory processing, behaviour and learning readiness.

3

What happens after screening or assessment?

Parents may receive guidance on the child strengths, areas of concern and recommended next steps, such as therapy, early intervention, school readiness or further professional assessment.

Planning Your Visit

1

Is screening the same as an assessment or diagnosis?

No. Screening identifies possible developmental concerns and whether further assessment may be helpful. It does not provide a diagnosis. Ask which assessment is recommended for your child and what it includes.

2

What should I prepare for my first enquiry?

Share your child’s age, your main concern and your preferred location. You do not need a diagnosis before contacting us. Avoid sending detailed medical records through the general enquiry form; ask the team how to share any relevant documents.

3

What happens after I send the enquiry form?

The team reviews your enquiry and contacts you about the next step. Sending a form does not reserve a slot or confirm an appointment. Confirm the branch, service, time and any payment requirements directly with the team.

4

How much does a session cost, and how long does it take?

Fees and duration depend on the service and appointment type. Ask the team for the current fee, session duration and any package or payment terms before booking.

5

Will I receive a written report?

Ask what feedback or written report is included in the specific screening or assessment you are booking. Do not assume that every appointment includes a diagnostic assessment or a written report.

6

Can I visit the Sunsuria Forum address for therapy?

Sunsuria Forum is the administrative headquarters, not a walk-in therapy centre. Use the Locations page and confirm the service and appointment at your chosen centre before travelling.

7

Can you guarantee progress within a fixed number of sessions?

No fixed outcome or timeframe can be promised. Each child’s needs, goals, participation and support differ. Discuss suitable goals and how progress will be reviewed with the team.
